Bookings for lodges/cabins can only be accepted for a minimum of 7 days from Saturday to Saturday.

For pitches, camping huts and rooms the length of stay can vary. Reservations will be accepted for two nights, depending on availability.

There is a minimum stay of 7 nights in July and August. This generally applies to pitches along the river. Arrival and departure days can be chosen freely with the exception of the Alpine Lodges.

Where possible, we will endeavor to fulfill requests for particular pitches. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee pitch numbers and for technical reasons, the site management reserves the right to change pitches even after receipt of deposit or booking confirmation. The confirmed pitch category will remain unchanged. Fencing around the pitch is not permitted.

Telephone enquiries are not binding and require written confirmation. Additional agreements of any nature are only contractually binding if confirmed by us in writing. 

Charging electric vehicles on the pitch is not permitted. This can only be done at our charging stations against payment.

For dog owners: Pets must be indicated when booking. Dogs must be kept on a leash on and around the campsite Grubhof! It is forbidden to section off your pitch in any way, including the use of dog fences. Maximum 2 dogs per pitch (more dogs subject to management discretion) Dogs are allowed on the paths Buchenweg and Eibenweg, which are along the river till UF09 and on the Saalach Meadow tent field. This also applies to assistance dogs, guide dogs and the like.

Bookings can be made in person at the reception, in writing, by email or by phone. After booking, a written confirmation will be sent together with a deposit charge. The booking is only valid after receipt of deposit. Bookings can only be made by and only accepted for guests who will occupy the accommodation or pitches for the reserved period. Pets must be indicated when booking.

The amount depends on the type of accommodation / pitch and length of stay and will be communicated at the time of booking. Payment of the deposit can take the form of a charge-free bank transfer or in cash (€), and must be made within 10 days of receiving written confirmation. Receipt of the deposit will be confirmed by us by e-mail. Upon receipt of the deposit the booking is binding for both parties. The entire deposit sum will be deducted from the final bill.

The booked arrival and departure dates are binding for both parties. The reserved pitch is available from 12.00 noon, rented accommodation from 03.00 p.m. If for any reason arrival will be later than 8.00 p.m., you are obliged to contact us. If no notification is made, the pitch / accommodation will be kept only until 12:00 noon the following day and then resold.

Upon departure, pitches must be vacated by 12.00 noon, rented accommodation by 10.00 a.m., unless agreed otherwise with the site management. Departures after 5:00 p.m. will be charged as an additional night.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in arrival or premature departure (e.g. due to bad weather etc.). Fees still apply and will be charged for unused days. Likewise, pitches or rented accommodation that are vacated prematurely or not have not been allocated may be resold. 

Bookings can be canceled at any time. Cancellation will only be accepted in writing, preferably by e-mail to home@grubhof.com. The date of cancellation receipt is decisive.

Many things can happen between the time of booking and arrival and a cancellation is unpleasant for both parties. Therefore, we recommend guests purchase travel insurance with Covid protection without surcharge; more about extent of coverage.

• up to 2 months prior to arrival: € 30.00 administration fee
• up to 1 month prior to arrival: 40% of the booking price
• up to 1 week prior to arrival: 70% of the booking price
• For cancellations within the last week prior to arrival, the charge will be 90% of the booking price.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with Covid protection without surcharge!

Fees for unused days apply and can be charged. Likewise, pitches or rented accommodation that are vacated prematurely or not have not been allocated may be resold.
