Your hosts Jozef & Tatiana are here to spoil you with excellent austrian and international cuisine, from crispy Wiener Schnitzel to wild game, crunchy salads to burgers and pizza and much more. We also offer most dishes to take away. A weekly changing menu with seasonal dishes rounds everything off.

Finished and furnished with lots of wood, the cozy dining rooms create a special, feel-good atmosphere in the rustic tavern. Don’t want to leave? Our guest rooms upstairs at Grubhof are the perfect solution. Whether it’s on the terrace next to the pond, at the bar or in one of the three tavern rooms – the lively yet cozy atmosphere in the rustic restaurant offers authentic, traditional Salzburg hospitality every time (also to take away!).

A real tavern needs real beer. That’s why we chose a traditional, multi-award winning beer from the region - from Hofbräuhaus Traunstein – as our house beer. Fresh from the barrel – just good, real beer.
Cozy tavern rooms & panorama terrace
Choose from one of our three cozy tavern and dining rooms, the bar or our glorious, sun-soaked terrace at our restaurant in St. Martin bei Lofer.
St. Martiner tavern and bar
With a view towards St. Martin, seating around 30 guests. From the bar, you have a wonderful view over fields and the church tower.
Loferer tavern
Cozy tavern room (up to approx. 40 guests) with a view of the Loferer Alm and Bräugföll mountains.
Traditional pine wood tavern
Pine wood-clad tavern with a traditional tiled stove (seats approx. 30 guests) – homely and private, with a sliding door to separate.
Terrace by the pond
Glorious terrace with a view of the surrounding mountain landscape – indulgence for all the senses.
A relaxed meal with the family
Families are especially welcome in the restaurant at Grubhof. We offer a generous playroom for children downstairs with table football, air hockey, lego, climbing wall and lots of space to play. In summer, the meadow and playground directly in front of the restaurant terrace are an invitation to frolic. This means parents can chat away in peace after their meal while the children have their own fun.
