Just 30 km away from Camping Grubhof is the Rupertus-Therme in Bad Reichenhall with spa and family resort. As well as the action and fun-filled swimming pools, the Rupertus-Therme has an extensive sauna area with a huge offering of massage treatments.

Bathing fun for big and small can be found in close proximity to the campsite, either at the “Steinbergbad” outdoor pool in Lofer (2 km away from Grubhof) or the natural bathing area at Vorderkaser (3 km away).

Tip: Free entry to the Steinbergbad pool in Lofer with the Salzburger Saalachtal Card as often as you like in the holiday period from 1st July to 31st August.

Camping Grubhof lies right on the Saalach, a 103-kilometre long mountain river, which is popular with water sports enthusiasts. The Saalach Valley in Salzburg is known for its abundance of water, its wild gorges and ravines. The Salzburg Saalach Valley is a highlight for kajaking and rafting fanatics.

Whitewater sports enthusiasts come together at Camping Grubhof. They have their own separate area on the river banks. In addition to our heated sanitary facilities, we also provide a drying room for canoeists and people with wet sports gear.

In July and August we invite Park Grubhof guests to try out whitewater sports.
