Summer Card: free cable cars, swimming pool, gorges & public transport

In July and August the Salzburg Saalachtal Card is included for camping guests.

This means all campers have free entry to/use of:

  • The swimming pool in Lofer
  • The Seisenberg and Vorderkaser gorges
  • The Lamprechtshöhle = cave
  • The Almbahn cable cars 1 and 2 (once per day)
  • NEW: free use of the public transport in Pinzgau = all public busses and trains in the region of Zell am See plus the bus line 260 into the City of Salzburg

Cable car 1 takes you to the middle station at Loderbichl within minutes. From there, continue by cable car 2 to the 1,500m Loferer Alm. Enjoy the mountain air, hike to one of the surrounding peaks or hurtle downhill on a bike, as MTBs can also be transported.

On hot days you can dive into crystal clear and pleasantly temperate waters. The Steinbergbad in Lofer is easily reached by car in 2 minutes and by bike in 10 minutes.

Visits to the Vorderkaser or Seisenberg gorges are especially worthwhile. Both of these stunning natural formations are just a few kilometres from the campsite.

Experience all of this and more on a daily basis, as often as you like!
