Spa facilities: Deluxe comfort Camping
Camping & spa – a contradiction? Not here! In the autumn of 2009 we opened our ‘Wellness Alm’ spa facilities in the new main building of the Grubhof deluxe comfort campsite to provide you with a new dimension in the concept of camping.
It’s been a long time since camping holidays were all about doing without home comforts. We have modernised our sanitary facilities and invested in countless other features over the past few years and our range of spa services means we are now even better at catering to the needs of today’s campsite guests.
Winter camping & spa: The perfect combination
Since the winter of 2009/2010 we have been offering winter camping at the Grubhof. Winter camping can be complemented perfectly with spa services in the spa section of the Grubhof. A hard day of skiing, an idyllic winter walk or a cross country ski tour can be rounded off in perfect style with a sauna, a massage or by spending time in the relaxation area.
Spa facilities at the campsite
There’s everything for every guest looking to relax and recuperate on 2 floors in the spa section of the main building:
- 90° pine sauna with a panoramic view
- 60° sauna with a panoramic view
- Salt steam bath
- Infrared cabin
- UV room
- Heated fireside benches
- Kneipp basin & open air area
The sauna section features a pine sauna and an alpine sauna with wonderful views of the surrounding landscape, without allowing the surrounding area to gaze back into the open air area, salty steam bath, infrared cabin, heated benches next to the fireplace, UV room or cold water ‘Kneipp’ pool.
The relaxation area, designed with great attention to colour, comfort and detail, is the perfect place to let your thoughts float away. The immense skylights allow your thoughts to leave the ground.
At the very top of the building there is a massage room, a jacuzzi and waterbed: Take your time away from the world below with a glass of sparkling wine, alone or as a couple, as you enjoy various treatments, the Jacuzzi and the waterbed.
