A great family camping holiday with the kids doesn’t mean we have a 24-hour all-action activity campsite. The true strengths of the Grubhof family camping site lie in its authenticity and the family-friendly leisure and outdoor experiences for all ages.

The camping and caravan site has special camping areas, both for people seeking peace and quiet and for families with adventurous kids, allowing each guest and group to enjoy their holiday without disturbing the other. There are also lots of special facilities for families and children on the camping and caravan site:

- Summertime river bathing fun for all ages
- Children’s games room in main campsite building
- Kids’ activity room with table tennis & table football
- Family showers in the sanitary facilities
- Baby bathing and changing facilities
- Kids’ nature programme in July/August (2 x free) in cooperation with Saalachtal tourist office. The activities are planned by professionals and offer plenty of variety. Activities include a guided tour of the woods, a treasure hunt in Lamprechtshöhle cave, an adventure tour with Lamas or introductory climbing courses.
